Since last Saturday till this afternoon I was in Guadalajara for the second time. My staying there was to formalize the possibility of a visit of the future Up with People's Cast B 2011 in Guadalajara. CIRIAC is a wonderful organization that supports people with cerebral palsy therapeutically, emotionally and academically. They will be one of the main actors to make this visit a reality.

Lucina Bravo, founder of CIRIAC and her husband Luis Gonzalez are working in the organization as General Director and Vice-president of the Board of Directors respectively. The history of this organization is fantastic. Lucina and Luis had a daughter with cerebral palsy who moved them to create a center where she could grow in an integral way and with dignity. When their daughter died, they decided to keep working in this great social project. Now a day, CIRIAC is a very well recognized organization from Guadalajara that operates successfully even thou they have limited resources. CIRIAC is a educational and rehab center for people with cerebral palsy. Wonderfully, CIRIAC has official agreements to facilitate and validate all the elementary, middle and high school levels for their kids. I invite you to click in the CIRIAC logo below this paragraph to learn more about this wonderful organization and find out way to support their important and disinterested mission.

During my time in Guadalajara I had the opportunity to assist to the Second Annual Inter-clubs Sports Encounter for Children and Youth with Cerebral Palsy. CIRIAC was the foundation organizing the games this year. Watching the games and those great kids I realized that in this country and in all the world there is wonderful people doing great things for their fellows. I truly believe we, the good people, are the majority... "What can I do?", some people ask themselves; just look at the great work that plenty of people do every day...
