Hemos llegado Kerri-Ann, Kelli y yo a San Diego.

My adventure with Up with People is continuing. As you remember, I had been hired by Up with People to be a Community Relations Coordinator (CRC). My work consists in prepare the cities for the arrival of the casts. This time, after a long migratory process I arrived to Denver in July for my CC training.

With the help of Staci, my beloved friend Jessica Trabert, my dear friend Juan Carlos Rivas, my boss Kerri-Ann and many other alumni and special guests our one-month-long training ended. It was a long process and we didn’t have the chance to share time with the casts, but the important thing is that we learn a lot. This time there is two casts traveling at the same time: Cast B and C 2007.

The cities where we will work were announced: I will go with Kelli to sunny San Diego. After that I will go to Lecco, Italy and at the end I will go to support the last cities in the tours in Belgium. The trip is just beginning.

In Denver I was hosted by my beloved Goodrich one more time. We had a lot of good times together. To say goodbye to them at the end of the training was one of the saddest experience so far… I really love them as my family. I hope one day they can come to México City.

In Denver I had the chance to have a dinner time with Beth, the alumna of Up with People who organized with the other members of Cast B 1993 my scholarship. An amazing experience.

Kerri-Ann, Kelli and me arrived San Diego. I have a great host family. I live with Sally Jams and her dog Sarah. Sally is great. She hosted Up with People students all the time they had been here. She’s a great Up with People fan and she treats us so good. We’re happy to be with her.

We have an office donated by an alumnus. It is an incredible office. It is PR firm called Formula. The alumnus donated to us car (a nice Volvo to be precise) and fashionable cell phone for Kelli and I. Hey, with this help our job will be easier.

So far we had been invited to have wonderful meals with alumni, Sally invited of to the world’s famous San Diego Zoo… well… it had been a great adventure… but we’re full of job to do, in the next post I will tell you more.
